This full time, fixed term post is available immediately until 31/07/2025 and offers the opportunity for flexible hybrid working – some time working on campus and some time working from home.

What you’ll be doing… 

As a Strategic Planning Analytics Officer you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and supporting the University’s strategic planning tool, Anaplan. You will be enhancing system processes and planning mechanisms to ensure effective operations. Utilising products and models to provide compelling visions and leveraging the functionality to deliver benefits and help the business achieve its goals for the Planning and Finance Systems Team.

You will prioritise requirements with the technical strategy and delivery capacity. You take the lead in ensuring the development and configuration of the tools used are prioritised on the roadmap and you will excel at providing evidence-based value to customers and end users.

You will work collaboratively to inform, guide thinking, and develop clear plans using Agile project methodologies to ensure requirements for improvement are translated into appropriate plans with time and costs and prioritise development activities.

We’re ideally looking for…  

  • A confident lead of scoping, design and development of the Anaplan SaaS product.
  • Proven experience of maintaining and enhancing business planning systems, such as Anaplan.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen understanding of customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Agile mindset, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
