Surrey Business School is progressive, transformative and responsible. We are a double accredited (AACSB and AMBA) business school heading into a new phase of our development.

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic marketing professional to join our fantastic Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences Marketing Team and take the lead for Surrey Business School.

The Role

You will have a critical role, leading on the marketing activity for Surrey Business School. You’ll have responsibility for stakeholder management and the development and implementation of marketing plans to support the recruitment of applicants to the portfolio of business, finance and accounting, and hospitality and tourism management programmes whilst working closely with the central marketing and communications team to ensure shared ideas and consistency across all activity. You will also line manage the School’s Student Content Creator, working with them to develop comms that can be used across the school, and support their learning and development.

You will be responsible for effectively communicating to internal and external audiences and ensure good communication channels between the School and Faculty and Central Marketing teams. 

About You

Relationship management is key to this role, so experience of client and/or stakeholder management at a variety of levels is essential. You will also have experience in juggling multiple projects at any one time, so organisational skills are key.  

You will also have:

  • Great relationship management skills – emotional intelligence to work with a variety of different stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Proven experience across the Marketing mix. 
  • Experience of managing a diverse workload, and the ability to multi-task concurrent projects.
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for business and the social sciences.
