About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Front of House team at Kellogg College as our Front of House Supervisor.
An interesting and varied role, duties will include supporting the Front of House (Catering & Hospitality) Manager and Deputy Manager to manage the College’s food service team and ensuring the provision of the highest standards of service across a wide range of food and beverage products whilst maintaining a service environment that is professional and welcoming at all times.
You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of customer service at all college events and meals, serving and clearing lunches, dinners and all college meals, assisting the Front of House Managers in planning the teams annual leave, TimeMoto hours and all operations, and ensuring that Food Safety and relevant Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations are complied with.
You will be joining the University of Oxford’s most international college, with a unique mix of students: it is the University’s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students. The College’s wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic disciplines in the University.
About you
You will have experience in the catering and hospitality industry, particularly food service, good communication skills and good administrative skills. You will possess the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail. You will have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and knowledge of wine service.
