The University’s Organisational Development Team deliver solutions that are designed to maximise capability and support the University’s aims and aspirations, and as an Organisational Development (OD) Transformation Partner, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of these initiatives and resources.

About the role

Working as part of our Organisational Development team and closely alongside our Transformation Team, you will have responsibility for facilitating strategic change initiatives across the University.

This role designs and delivers change capability building to enable our transformation activities alongside senior leaders, school and service heads, and other stakeholders within the University.  You will play a key role in driving change management processes, enabling the safe release of change into the organisation, and by using your experience, you’ll work with colleagues to build change capability that ensures that leaders and teams have the skills and capacity to meet current and emerging organisational needs. This will include designing and delivering training programmes, workshops, and developing resources to build change management competence and confidence. You will also provide expert advice, guidance, and support to senior leaders and project teams in navigating complex change, offering tailored practical suggestions, tools and approaches.

Key to your success in this role will be your deep understanding of organisational dynamics, change management principles, effective implementation of lasting change, all within a higher education context.

The successful candidate will bring strong practical experience in organisational development and change, ideally gained in higher education or a comparable sector and able to contribute to the range of transformation and change initiatives underway in a highly performing, values-driven and ambitious Russell Group University.  A positive and can-do attitude is a must to be able to interact with and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and partners including senior academic management, world-leading research talent, and professional heads of services.  You will understand a variety of change frameworks and approaches and be skilled at advising client groups on the tools and approaches that will optimise the chances their change will be successfully deployed and sustainable in their context.

This position is full time (35 hours per week) and open-ended (permanent). Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
