We are seeking an experienced and organised Communications and Events Officer to shape and drive forward the School’s web-based content and digital presence, ensuring the right tone of voice, brand look, feel and messaging. Working with students and staff, the post holder will contribute to the development, design, organization, promotion and delivery of School communications and events.
Working closely with colleagues from across the School and University, the post holder will proactively develop content and understand the appropriate University channels in which to promote and communicate in an engaging way that helps both students and staff within the organization. They will have an interest in social media, newsletters and digital channels.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting a range of events taking place throughout the year, including Applicant Visit Day and Open Days. The role covers the preparation and organisation of these key events, requiring good attention to detail and availability to work at weekends.
