About the Role:
The Cambridge School of Art (CSA), based in the Ruskin Building on the Cambridge campus, has grown over the last five years. We are now seeking to appoint a well-rounded and highly motivated (0.5 FTE 12-months fixed-term contract) Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for our BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Branding course) with excellent course leadership skills and understanding of the fields of fashion, branding, journalism, PR, marketing and management in a global context alongside the organisational and communication skills to implement module administration, assessment, feedback and quality assurance requirements. There will be a focus on interdisciplinary and inter-faculty learning and teaching and the post holder will be responsible for planning and developing innovative curriculum and pedagogy and deliver modules through unified active learning and teaching approaches, ensuring that our students graduate with the skills and knowledge tailored towards achieving specialisms applicable to the wide-ranging and ever-changing industry of fashion.

You will join an established and dedicated team of creative academics. This is a part-time 0.5 FTE (12-months fixed-term contract) post.

With successful HE teaching experience and preferably a higher degree, you will have a professional practice commensurate with the stage of your career. We are looking for team players with a proven track record in teaching and industry. You’ll be able to work to tight deadlines, working independently with minimum supervision and liaising closely with senior colleagues from our partners and key stakeholders.
