About the role

You are invited for the following authoring opportunities on the programme BSc (H) Business and Management that is delivered online. This authoring will commence in September 2024 depending on the module. Authoring required for the following modules:

5AG520 Financial Analysis and Decision Making - 50% content authoring 

5EC508 Macroeconomics - 100% content authoring

6BM500 Business Psychology - 50% content authoring

6MK522 Strategic Marketing - 100% content authoring

You will be responsible for writing and developing self-study academic content and materials for learners studying online. You are expected to be academically competent to create learning materials and activities at the appropriate level and using appropriate learning tools and techniques. You will be expected to work closely with colleagues to ensure high quality content, materials and learning experience for all learners. Your authoring will be supported and co-ordinated by the UDOL Content team and the Academic Lead. We are able to offer assistance with technology enhancement features and graphic design.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to the on going development of our curriculum. Successful authors will be paid £1,301.47 to £3,105.38 per module upon completion.

Milestones for the modules Strategic Marketing and Business Psychology:   

High Level Plan due: 8 October 2024

Unit 1 due: 22 October 2024

Units 2-3 due (inc. Reading List): 26 November 2024

Units 4-6 due (inc. Assessment Brief): 3 January 2025

Units 7-10 due: 31 January 2025

Milestones for the modules Macroeconomics and Financial Analysis and Decision Making:

High Level Plan: 12 December 2024

Unit 1: 9 January 2025

Units 2-3 (inc. Reading List): 13 February 2025

Units 4-6 (inc. Assessment Brief): 13 March 2025

Units 7-10: 10 April 2025
