We are currently recruiting Head of Engagement and Exhibitions the Museum and Cultural Team at UCL.The post holder has oversight of audience engagement and visitor experience for UCL’s museums, including all cultural spaces overseen by UCL Museum Services and the museum's digital estate, leading the development and delivery of audience-focused, accessible and inclusive exhibitions and programmes. The post holder also supports Library exhibitions and events through the allocation of staffing resource from the Exhibitions team. Senior strategic oversight of all LCCOS cultural programmes, events and exhibitions is provided by a Programme Committee, of which the post holder is a member. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.
We are looking for candidates who in particular have the ability to plan and deliver complex cultural projects, to time and to budget; lead, inspire and develop a multi-disciplinary team to achieve specific outcomes. Candidate will have the experience and the required relationship-building skills, with the ability to tailor communication for different audiences, and the ability to network effectively. Post holder is also expected to have the ability to prioritise and to meet deadlines in the face of conflicting demands, and to be flexible in response to changing demands.
