The Faculty of Science is looking for a pro-active and self-motivated individual to join our team, in a new role to support the delivery of the University of Bath Pharmacy education at the University of Plymouth campus.

This is a joint role to support the effective programme and placement delivery.
The successful candidate will form part of the Faculty’s Taught Programmes team, ensuring that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances.
You will also be part of the Faculty’s Placements Team, engaging operationally with all aspects of placement activity and providing specific administrative support to the placements operation for Pharmacy at Plymouth.
About you
Applicants for this post should have previous experience of working in an administrative role.
You will:
You should have good digital literacy, with a proficiency in Word and Excel and the ability to learn use of database systems.
While experience in the use of University-specific software (Moodle, SAMIS/SITS and Business Objects) is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Delivering excellent service matters to us, as well as student and staff wellbeing and University reputation.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE), permanent position. We are open to discussing alternative FTE arrangements or flexible working requests as appropriate.
This is a busy and varied role based at the University of Plymouth campus, so you will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills with colleagues in Plymouth and Bath, demonstrate a good use of initiative and be reactive to changing priorities.
In fulfilling these functions, you will collaborate with colleagues across the University of Bath and University of Plymouth, as well as the academic leadership team based locally.
This is a busy and varied role involving daily communication with academic staff and students. You need to have excellent organisational skills, to demonstrate good use of initiative, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
