We are looking to appoint a full-time Technical Tutor in TV Production to support our Film, TV, and Media courses at Maidstone Studios. As part of the Technical Learning team, you will provide technical support and tuition tailored to the needs of our course portfolio and students.
You will be responsible for managing course-specific equipment and associated software, ensuring they are configured, functioning, replenished, issued, and maintained in line with University needs. Additionally, you will provide technical support to assist staff and students with production activities.
You will be responsible for health and safety within your area of competence, ensuring compliance with safe working practices. Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and the capacity to handle pressure are essential. You must demonstrate an aptitude for dealing tactfully and professionally with students and staff.
