About the role
We are looking for an innovative person with an enthusiasm for physics to join the Department of Physics as a fixed-term Lecturer.
The appointee will perform a variety of teaching tasks, including lecturing to undergraduate students at a range of levels, running academic and personal tutorials and problems classes, assisting in supervising students within the teaching laboratories (experimental and/or computing), and running undergraduate final year projects.

About you
You should have a higher degree in physics or a closely-related discipline and be able to meet all the essential criteria outlined in the job description.
You must also be passionate about teaching and be able to share that passion with others, motivating students and working as part of a team.
Additional info
This is a full-time, fixed-term post, running until 30th September 2025.
We expect the interviews to be held at the end of August/beginning of September.
Both the Department of Physics and the University of Bath are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive working environment.
