About the Role
The post holder will be joining the Centre for Preventive Neurology at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London. They will work within the Parkinson`s disease (PD) group, whose studies focus on the clinical, genetic and biomarker aspects in people with PD and at risk of PD.
The post-holder will be expected to assist with all aspects of the PREDICT PD study (www.predictpd.com), including recruitment and basic data analysis and quality control. This will include contacting potential study participants, assembling kits for sample collection and sending these out to participants, monitoring recruitment and kit return rates, and storage, processing and analysis of biological samples.
About You
Candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant science discipline. The ideal candidate will have a background in clinical research and be familiar with good clinical practice and the regulatory requirements of clinical research. Experience in Parkinson’s disease or other neurodegenerative disorders would be desirable.
