The opportunity
University of the Arts London (UAL) is looking for a Lecturer in Fashion Management Research Methods to join our Leadership and Management Programme at London College of Fashion (LCF).
You will assume responsibility for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on the BSc Fashion Management, MSc Strategic Fashion Management and MBA Fashion Management courses. Based in our Fashion Business School, these courses seek to equip students with a solid understanding of fashion management, setting them up to become future leaders and innovators in the business of fashion.
Working collaboratively with the undergraduate and postgraduate course teams, you will deploy your specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions, expanding the capacity of the course design to stimulate learning and to develop qualitative and quantitative research skills and applications.
About you
You will be educated to at least a higher degree level (e.g. MSc, MBA) in a relevant subject area and will possess experience of teaching and assessment in a Higher Education environment or the equivalent relevant experience.
You will also exhibit evidence of research, teaching, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of relevant activity and is relevant to the goals of the Programme, College and University.
Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills will also be essential for success in this role.
