The role
Are you passionate about sharing your expertise in print for fashion within a vibrant educational environment? Join us at London College of Fashion as a Specialist Technician and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of fashion professionals.
Working in a supervised studio space, you'll leverage your industry knowledge to guide and inspire students, teaching them silk screen printing and processes, dye techniques and other applications like sublimation print. Your experience with these production methods in print for fashion will allow you to offer creative solutions to technical challenges in both workshop settings and teaching environments.
Adapting your teaching approach to support a diverse student body, you will ensure every individual receives the tailored education they need to thrive.
About you
To excel in this role, candidates should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in print for fashion or possess substantial experience in the field. Your expertise should include a solid working knowledge of silk screen printing and processes and heat press techniques including transfer inks, foil, flock and fabric dye techniques.
Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of running workshops and employing effective teaching and learning practices or professional practices to support excellent teaching, pedagogy, and inclusivity.
