The Examination and Assessment Operations team sit within the Student Administration section of Education Services, supporting the academic purposes of the University, and provides expert administrative support and advice to the University and Colleges relating to operational delivery of exams and reasonable adjustments for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses. It also manages the administration of mitigating circumstances and allowances for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in the Mitigating Circumstances team and the role is responsible for delivering the administration for examination allowances and adjustments for students by (a) acting as Assistant Secretary to the University's Examination Access and Mitigation Committee (EAMC) and (b) ensuring that applications for examination access arrangements (reasonable adjustments), including adjusted modes of assessment and supporting the examination allowance process for postgraduate students are processed.
