We are looking for a Teaching Fellow in Philosophy of Education to start in September or as soon as thereafter, fixed term for 9 months.  

The Opportunity: 

The Moray House School of Education and Sport is pleased to invite applications for a 9-months Teaching Fellowship in Philosophy of Education. You will work as part of a committed group of Philosophy of Education and High Education academics, researchers and students to maximise the potential within MHSES and the University. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, making your own particular contributions and collaborating both with staff and students. 

Your skills and attributes for success:  

  • A PhD or equivalent in an area relevant to Philosophy of Education. 
  • Academic expertise in Philosophy of Education. 
  • Experience of course level leadership at postgraduate level. 
  • Demonstrable ability to teach and supervise dissertations at postgraduate level. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
