The University of Aberdeen has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Lead to join the Grampian Data Safe Haven (DaSH).  DaSH, established in May 2012, is a joint venture between the University of Aberdeen and National Health Service (NHS) Grampian to process health and care data. DaSH is accredited and part of the Scottish Federated Network of approved safe havens. Our data partnerships enable scalable Scotland-wide research with demonstrated ability to replicate across the UK and Globally.

In this role you will be working at the cutting edge of health data science research supporting both internal and external customers in innovative analyses of a wide range of data.  You will lead the delivery of a demanding service from project initiation to completion.

As a Senior member of the Grampian Data Safe Haven Team, the post holder will be responsible for the project management and operational delivery of complex analyses of linked health and non-health data sets within the Grampian Data Safe Haven.

You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have experience of delivering multiple projects.  You should have experience of stakeholder engagement and awareness of Information Governance and Security requirements within the United Kingdom.  Experience of working in a Safe Haven or similar Trusted Research Environment would be advantageous, as would experience of managing a team.

You should possess strong communication, networking, interpersonal and presentation skills and have effective negotiation skills with the ability to influence others’ thinking at a senior level.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7, £45,585 - £54,395 with placement according to qualifications and experience.
