Who we’re looking for:
Plymouth Marjon University are seeking to appoint a talented individual to join our ambitious team within the School of Health and Wellbeing to support our apprentices and students in the practice-based environment. You will have proven knowledge of the health and care sector and be passionate about teaching and learning as well as supporting individuals to develop and grow. We are seeking an exceptional individual to support us on our journey to becoming the provider of choice for professional healthcare programmes in the region.
Are you highly motivated and passionate about supporting and developing student and apprentices in clinical practice? If so, you can make a real difference in helping our students and apprentices to achieve their full potential. Applicants must have strong team working skills, in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills. You will need to hold NMC registration, with comprehensive post registration experience and an understanding of the wider sector.
What you’d be doing:
You will be responsible for facilitating practice education experiences for students and apprentices in the practice learning environment. You will provide support and guidance to students and apprentices throughout their practice education experiences, collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective and coordinated learning experiences, and participate in quality improvement initiatives related to practice education. In this role, you’ll be based in the Nursing and Health Sciences team within the School of Health and Wellbeing, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth.
