An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician to work on a BBSRC-funded project focussed on zebrafish tail regeneration and specifically on how regeneration is initiated after wound closure. The project builds upon our Nature Comms paper that identified a central role for Hedgehog signalling the initiation of regeneration. Some of the advanced technologies that will be used in this project are: light sheet microscopy and single cell RNAseq analysis to identify early regenerative genes.
The post will involve the following:
Applicants must have a qualification or experience equivalent to Level 3 (BTEC/A Level) qualification in relevant field along with a demonstrable the ability to communicate technical information clearly and succinctly to a wide variety of stakeholders, in a variety of methods, for example verbally or in presentation or written format. The ability to work with minimal supervision, efficiently and effectively at all times is also essential.
