About the Role

As an Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our prospective students throughout their application journey. You will be the first point of contact for applicants, guiding them through the process and ensuring they have a positive experience from enquiry to enrolment.

What You'll Do:

  • Assess and Process Applications: Evaluate and manage applications in line with BIMM’s policies and procedures, including UCAS and direct applications.
  • Coordinate Admissions Assessments: Organise and oversee admissions assessments such as auditions and interviews.
  • Applicant Communication: Maintain regular contact with applicants, providing clear and accurate information at each stage of the application process.
  • Query Response: Address prospective applicant queries both before and after application submission.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of applicant information in the appropriate database.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness in all interactions.
  • Team Support: Assist the wider Admissions team with open days, assessment days, and student enrolment activities.
  • Campus Support: Aid campuses during induction and enrolment weeks.

What You'll Bring:

  • Communication Skills:  Professional communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and manage competing demands.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable and flexible to meet the changing needs of the role and the organisation.
