Derby College Group (DCG) have a brilliant opportunity for you to join the Inclusion Curriculum Team as an Inclusion and Support Trainer, based at our iconic Broomfield Hall Campus. The team you’ll be joining shares a passion and commitment for working with young people with SEND and the team is growing year on year. They are passionate about ensuring that young people and adults with complex needs develop the skills and confidence for increasingly independent lives. We are looking for a new team member who shares this same motivation.
The Opportunity
Within this role you’ll work proactively in ensuring our students access a full range of personalised learning activities to support preparation for adulthood and meaningful adult lives. The role is fundamental in ensuring students are ready for positive progression and are well-prepared to be confident and successful in life and work.
You’ll be working with the wider Inclusion Curriculum Team to:
About you
You’ll be inclusive and proactive in your work and have specialist knowledge and understanding of educational provision for people with learning difficulties / disabilities including autism and SEMH. You will have the skills and experience to deliver personalised learning programmes including embedded English and maths, social skills, and personal development. To be successful in this role, you’ll also have skills and experience in the effective implementation of RARPA.
