The Course Tutor will work together with Module Leads for the planning and delivery of theoretical modules of the MSc Early Child Development and Clinical Applications, which is a two-year, full-time programme (formerly known as MSc Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology). Specifically, the Course Tutor will plan and facilitate weekly workshops for three Year 1 modules (one per term) to help students consolidate the knowledge from the lectures, and will also do the marking for these modules (approximately 20 scripts per module). The programme team is made up of 15 dedicated colleagues, including directors, teaching and support staff. It has an intake of between 15-21 students each year (a total of 30-40 students when Year 1 and Year 2 students are running concurrently). More information about the programme and role responsibilities can be found on the Job Profile.

The successful candidate will be experienced in delivering university-level teaching and/or supervision, demonstrate very good knowledge of early child development and an interest in multi-perspective thinking. A MSc or PhD (or near completion) in neuroscience or developmental psychology is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected institution in the field of child mental health, with a range of development opportunities in clinical, research, and academic capacities. Our partnership with University College London allows access to training and further opportunities for collaboration.
