About the Role
As the Apprenticeship Administrator at Queen Mary, University of London, you will be joining a small central team which provides technical and administrative support through the apprentice lifecycle, from onboarding/ enrolment to completion on key issues such as ESFA compliance, through to handling Ofsted administrative functions.
The post-holder will provide a high standard of apprentice and employer support, answer enquiries in relation to degree apprenticeship programmes and will ensure that all aspects of the day-to-day activities operate efficiently and effectively.
The post-holder will also play a key role as Secretary to the Degree Apprenticeship Oversight Board (DAOB) and the Degree Apprenticeship Operations and Compliance forum. You will be expected to provide high standards of general administrative support for the Head of Degree Apprenticeships, and other senior managers.
Collaborating with the Head of Degree Apprenticeships and other managers, you will support the administrative functions for both Ofsted and the ESFA regulatory matters. We will also use the SMART the Assessor system, SITS and other electronic tools to help support operational efficiency across the provision and to help improve better decision making.
About You
The successful candidate will predominantly be based at DepartmentW campus, working within DepartmentW along with the central team. Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing excellent administration on behalf of Queen Mary University London and above all else, our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic. Applicants should also be highly confident in many aspects of IT and will be expected to utilise the Microsoft Office Suite of tools for most aspects of their work.
