Applications are invited for a Research Associate in Proteomics and Transporter Kinetics, at the Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetic Research (CAPKR) of the Division of Pharmacy and Optometry. The post is full time and will be tenable on a fixed term basis of 24 months. The post-doctoral research associate will conduct research to understand local disposition of antibody drug conjugates and oligonucleotides in samples mainly using proteomics approaches and in-depth data analysis, that will allow development of PBPK models to predict drug concentration at the site of action for a more accurate PKPD prediction.
Successful candidate will become a member of the CAPKR research team and be fully involved in a project entitled “Defining Local Disposition Beyond What is Known for Small Molecules to Assist Building PBPK Framework for Oligonucleotide and Antibody Drug Conjugate Modalities”. The applicant should hold a PhD in a biomedical, systems biology, pharmaceutical, systems modelling or a similar research area, and have experience with at least some of the techniques: sample preparation, proteomics, enzyme and transporter kinetics and cell based and cell fraction models. In addition, experience in transcriptomic and proteomic analyses is required. Previous experience of mathematical modelling using relevant software packages would be desirable.
