The Directorate of Information Services are looking for an ESM Officer to join the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Team. Working as part of a product team to deliver large scale projects that will substantially benefit the University and ensure the delivery of a robust, efficient and user-friendly service to our departments across the University. Contribute to the product roadmap and backlog, delivering high quality, documented requirements to ensure timely delivery of agreed workloads through well planned sprints. Work with team members under the direction of the product owner to deliver to defined strategy and future plans for the product line.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Daily BAU support and ticket resolution
  • Delivery of configuration changes to support the ongoing system enhancements
  • Contribute to the development of policies and user guides and assist in the delivery of training for new users.
  • Work with team members under the direction of the Product Owner and/or ESM Analyst to help deliver against a defined strategy and future plans for the product line.
  • Ensure that insight and data is used to shape and optimise all future ESM developments.
  • Contribute to the sprint documentation, to ensure lessons learned activities provide value and influence decision making as the process, team and individuals mature.
  • Develop strong relationships with other business teams and their customers to manage expectations and influence thinking.
  • Build and maintain effective business partnering relationships across all departments within the assigned area of remit.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with University staff at all levels.
  • Ability to plan and organise their own work, negotiate and influence and be a subject matter expert in providing the support and understanding in the resolution of complex Infrastructure issues.
  • Ability to analyse and prioritise conflicting demands and provide a collaborative approach to design and service delivery.
  • Working demonstrable knowledge of master data management and modern integration processes
  • Experience of the following application(s) would be desirable
    • Fresh Works / Fresh Service
