St Catherine’s, the newest and largest mixed undergraduate/graduate college within the University of Oxford, is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual to join its Academic Office. Applicants should be flexible and keen to learn.
The post holder will provide the administrative support required for the successful running of the academic activities of the College. In particular, they will manage the daily activities of the Academic Office, including supervision of the two Academic Officers, and will take responsibility for examination arrangements, supporting students facing challenges, and overseeing arrangements relating to Degree Ceremonies, College Collections (termly internal examinations) and the College’s digital student records. They will also be a first point of contact for enquiries to the Academic Office.
With a keen eye for detail, the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also be enthusiastic, friendly and able to provide a customer-focused service. Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.
The salary is set within the range £33,966 - £39,347 per annum, comprising 35 hours per week. In return, we offer a range of benefits including meals without charge whilst on duty, free use of the College gym and travel season ticket loans.
