Harper Adams University is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for our Foundation Year Programme. This role could be undertaken by more than one part-time individual, or one full-time individual for the period of the post. The post-holder(s) will play a key role in the support of teaching and supporting the Foundation Year students. The support within the course team will allow those with limited experience of the teaching environment to develop these skills.
Our Foundation Year Programme is one of the fastest growing areas of the university. It offers students an alternative route to undergraduate study: giving them the skills, confidence and resilience required to succeed in Higher Education. Students on this Level 3 year of study will learn key skills and knowledge, both core and subject-specific, and how their chosen area of study fits into the challenges and opportunities of the modern global landscape. Through reflective approaches, students develop and monitor their own personal learning journey.
If you have any queries or questions or for an informal discussion, please contact Stephen Giles, Programme Manager, via e-mail at sjgiles@harper-adams.ac.uk or phone 01952 815005
