About the Job

We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented Digital Analyst to provide data analysis and insights to inform the strategic and day-to-day use of our digital channels for student recruitment. They will provide specialist professional advice and guidance to colleagues within the wider External Relations Directorate and deliver data insight to ensure our online activities are targeted and measured effectively. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of tracking and reporting on ROI for digital marketing activity using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio. They should have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain, present, and advise on data insights to colleagues at all levels.

Familiarity with Dynamics CRM and Power BI is desirable.

About You

  • A high level user of Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, CRO and other Marketing concepts
  • Experienced in measuring the ROI and effectiveness of marketing campaigns (email, PPC, paid and organic social media)
  • Experience in producing analytics reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI.
  • Able to interrogate data and draw actionable insight against KPIs.
  • An understanding of data protection, GDPR, consent and its impact.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both marketing colleagues and other team members 
  • A team player who can embrace change, prioritise effectively, and is comfortable learning and adapting to modern technologies and ways of working.
