Clinical Research Fellow (Child Health)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to conduct research for a discreet project looking at repurposing medications in children with glomerulonephritis. The post holder would undertake the post part-time whilst completing their clinical training, with the post holder returning to full-time clinical training after the project ends. The opportunity to register for a part time MD or PhD will be available, and encouraged by the supervisory team.

We are seeking a motivated individual who will be based at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as part of the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health.

You will have excellent attention to detail, with effective communication skills and a flexible approach to work. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. You should have a MBChB or equivalent, and have completed FY1 and FY2 in the UK.

This post is available at 0.2 FTE for 24 months from September 2024.
