We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Corporate Communications for someone with a passion for staff communications and employee engagement.
You will join a small team in Internal Communications. You will use your writing and organisation skills to provide essential support to our central staff communications designed to enhance staff engagement, communicate our University vision, and ensure our staff have the information and resources they need.
You’ll play a key role in producing and publishing content across our internal communications channels, including our weekly staff newsletters. You will also get involved in supporting our hybrid staff events, such as our annual University vision town halls.
You’ll need to have first-rate writing skills and attention to detail, and be able to check your work for grammar and spelling. You’ll need to be comfortable with a fast-paced work environment and willing to take a flexible approach to changing priorities and deadlines. You’ll be highly organised, great with people, and able to deal with complex and sensitive information.
You’ll be part of the wider Corporate Communications department, supporting our work to enhance the University’s global reputation through engaging and impactful communications and marketing.
If you’re looking to start your career in a professional communications team, then we would love to hear from you. We will work with you on a comprehensive development plan to make sure you gain as much from the internship as possible.
We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
