We are looking for a part-time Maths Teacher with enthusiasm for teaching and learning and the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their ambitions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learners, ensuring they have an outstanding learning journey whilst at Harrogate College. The role will involve working across the college to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills in English to learners in all curriculum areas. We are an organisation that nurtures and develops those new to teaching as well as more experienced teachers. Whether you are new to teaching or looking to take on your next challenge, we welcome your application.
Achieving their maths qualification can be life-changing for students who wish to go on to further study, employment, or higher education. Our team is committed to developing student beliefs in their own ability, using restorative and supportive approaches. Learners are encouraged to have fun, to be kind and to believe in their own unique abilities and talents and to be proud of the progress they make. Those who work at Harrogate are always keen to share and celebrate the successes of their learners and do so between departments based at Harrogate and across the wider Luminate Education Group.
Harrogate College is a fantastic place for both study and work, with learners who thrive in an environment where staff promote high challenges and offer generous support. Harrogate College delivers GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications to 16-18 learners, adults and apprentices.
