The University of Oxford is seeking an exceptional and creative communicator with a passion for telling stories about world-changing research. Working as part of the Research & Innovation Communications team, you’ll help share news of the latest discoveries from one of the world’s leading universities.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor and collaborator to Oxford researchers and communications colleagues in Oxford’s Social Sciences and Humanities divisions, spanning critical research on themes such as climate change, migration, and international affairs to ethics, philosophy, and classics. You’ll be comfortable managing fast moving media relations and delivering proactive media outreach and storytelling across a range of communications channels.
There will be opportunity to lead targeted, proactive storytelling in a range of formats, contributing to cross-disciplinary campaigns on topics ranging from artificial intelligence and the application of new technologies to climate change, the exploration of space and live saving medical treatments.
You will be joining a supportive, friendly and award winning team of communications professionals located in the University’s central Public Affairs Directorate and will collaborate closely with specialist teams in internal, digital and creative communications.
