About the role:
We are recruiting two Employer Relations & Development Advisers to cultivate and develop engagement with employer partners, playing an important role in enhancing the global employability of our students and graduates and ensuring King’s College London remains a top-tier target institution for the widest range of graduate employers.
The post holder will be responsible for business development and opportunity provision within one of our defined industry clusters. Being data informed, they will identify target employers, build innovative strategies for physical and virtual engagement, account manage individual relationships and develop partnerships to support our strategy of integrating employability into a King’s education at all levels of study. They will also become a labour market specialist within their cluster, researching, collating and curating key information to share knowledge with our students, academics and other staff, alongside informing our work-based learning initiatives.
Advisers will also work with colleagues across Careers Education and Student Careers Engagement to develop our digital careers portfolio and direct student engagement, including video production and workshops, curating digital ‘pathways’ and chairing panels and other events.

There are two roles being filled. One is a permanent contract, the other is a 12 month maternity cover contract, ending on 31 August 2025.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week) requiring regular engagement on campus, but we welcome applications from candidates seeking a flexible working pattern within necessary service operating norms. Some evening and weekend working will be necessary on occasion.
