An opportunity within the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment as part of the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme as a Research Assistant in Climate Damages Analysis.

The successful candidate will work with the Climate Litigation Lab at the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme with Dr Ben Franta to develop research outputs to help inform and shape climate change damages litigation globally. 

To be considered for the role you will be required to be working toward a DPhil and/or holding a master’s degree in a relevant field. You will have evidence of potential for producing research of world-leading quality on climate damages attribution and/or quantification during the tenure of the post. An ability to develop, prioritize, and execute high-impact research agendas independently and in collaboration with others is essential. You will need to show excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings.
