We are looking for a talented and versatile mathematician and computer scientist to work as part of a team of interdisciplinary researchers at the new Centre for Applications of Mathematical and Computing Sciences (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/camacs) (CAMaCS) at Warwick.
This is a new type of postdoctoral role, called an “Innovation Research Associate”, with focus on technical breadth. As part of the role, you will be expected to work within interdisciplinary academic teams to:
Engage in collaborative grant capture and impact acceleration.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
You will hold a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline. Your application should include a research statement, CV and list of publications, along with a cover letter, identifying and evidencing your experience with as many of the following areas as possible, preferably at least two:

If you are near submission or have recently submitted your PhD but have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made as Research Assistant at the top of level 5 of the University grade structure. Upon receipt of evidence of the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow on the first point of level 6 of the University grade structure.
