Main duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for the Marketing of the Hertsquad programme as well as the coordination, organisation of all HertSquad events whilst liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to provide the best possible student experience.

You will be part of the marketing team and work collaboratively with key the HertSquad staff and colleagues from across the university to lead and provide expertise on the marketing of HertSquad and its respective programmes.

Skills and Experience

You will have experience of working in marketing, and, or sports industry marketing and be able to demonstrate an insight-led approach to assist in the development of successful initiatives and positive experiences for the customer. You will have experience in organising and delivering a variety of marketing campaigns and have worked or volunteered at an array of sporting events.

You will believe strongly in adopting and promoting service excellence across all programmes and have a passion for engaging others into an active lifestyle with the ability to adapt to different situations. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised, work well under pressure and be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy and vibrant environment.

Qualifications required:

Degree in a marketing or sports related area or equivalent demonstrable experience. CIM MSM or other marketing qualification is desirable.
