Applicant Experience Team Leader

About the Role

As an Applicant Experience Team Leader you would manage and coordinate admissions recruitment events at our London campus. In this role, you will lead a small team of Applicant Experience Officers, ensuring that our events are engaging, informative, and smoothly executed, helping prospective students make well-informed decisions about their future studies.

What You'll Do:

  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Applicant Experience Officers to plan, coordinate, and deliver a schedule of open days, experience days, and audition/interview days for our London campus.
  • Campus Tours: Conduct college tours for prospective students, their parents, and guests, serving as a friendly and approachable representative of BIMM University.
  • Data Management: Monitor and record prospective applicants at each stage of their journey, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a team of Applicant Experience Officers, ensuring adequate staffing and department representation at all applicant events.
  • Ambassador Coordination: Oversee a team of casual Student Ambassadors who provide support at events.
  • Reporting: Produce routine and ad-hoc reports on prospective applicant information, including event registration, attendance, and follow-up activities.
  • Marketing Support: Work with the marketing team to capture and share recruitment events on BIMM University’s social media channels, ensuring content is planned ahead.
  • Admissions Support: Assist the wider Recruitment and Admissions Team during peak application periods, including the lead-up to the equal consideration deadline, Clearing, and new student enrolment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in planning and coordinating events is essential.
  • Experience in effectively managing staff, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in public speaking and presenting to large groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience in data collection, reporting, and creating content for social media platforms.
  • While not essential, Academic, professional, or personal experience in the creative arts would be advantageous and existing knowledge of BIMM University’s sectors and courses as well as experience of working in Higher Education is a plus.
