The role

The Admin Hub (aka the Operations Team) is the nerve centre of the Research Contracts and Research Compliance Team, who are responsible for the provision of legal advice around research activity as well as compliance with national security legislation. This post is one of two Senior Contracts Administrators, each line managing two Administrative Assistants, supporting the Research Contracts/Research Compliance Specialists.
This role is a vital piece in ensuring the smooth running of the teams. It comprises a range of administrative and operational tasks to aid the progression of research projects through the grants & contracts process and to improve operational efficiency within the team. In addition, the Senior Contracts Administrators also fulfil the role of Contracts Specialist for particular types of case (training will be provided). There may be opportunity for future progression in this direction.
