Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team, driving proactive sourcing activities and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Strategic Implementation: Collaborate with the Group Head of Recruitment to develop and execute a robust Talent Acquisition strategy, positioning The Bedford College Group as a top employer.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and provide comprehensive reports on recruitment performance.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities, contributing to the overall success of the HR team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Good standard of general education, ideally with CIPD Level 3 (Level 5 is desirable).
  • Experience: Proven ability to lead recruitment campaigns, manage teams, and drive positive change within processes.
  • Skills: Excellent IT skills, proficiency in ATS systems, strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attributes: Ability to handle sensitive data confidentially, work under pressure, and build professional relationships.

  • Full driving license valid in the UK
