This is a great opportunity for an Academic & Digital Development Adviser to join the University’s Academic Services.

This role:-

For Grade 7

Combines aspects of a traditional academic role with service-focused duties. There are three main parts to the role:

  1. To contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by advising and supporting staff on all issues surrounding curriculum and educational development, including the development and delivery of CPD events and resources. (approx. 65% of the role).
  2. To contribute to teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with the credit bearing (postgraduate) and accredited programmes run by Academic & Digital Development (approx. 25% of the role).
  3. To undertake scholarship to enhance learning, teaching and assessment in Academic & Digital Development, across the University and more widely, in the Higher Education Community including the scholarship activities of colleagues in Schools and Colleges (approx. 10% of the role).

For Grade 8

Combines aspects of a traditional academic role with service-focused duties. There are three main parts to the role:

To take a lead on the Service’s activities which contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by advising and supporting staff on all issues surrounding curriculum and educational development, including the development and delivery of CPD events and resources. (approx. 60% of the role).
  2. To take a leading role in the teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with the credit bearing (postgraduate) and accredited programmes run by Academic & Digital Development (approx. 20% of the role).
  3. To undertake scholarship to enhance learning, teaching and assessment in Academic & Digital Development, across the University and more widely, in the Higher Education Community including the scholarship activities of colleagues in Schools and Colleges (approx. 20% of the role).
