A great opportunity has risen for a Research Networks + Partnerships Manager to oversee key relationships and influencing projects to drive an increase in public investment into respiratory research and innovation.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
As a Research Networks + Partnerships Manager, you’ll manage the delivery of a UK-wide respiratory influencing group working with academics and industry, lead high-profile partnerships such as with Our Future Health, the UK’s largest research platform, and co-deliver a service to support respiratory innovators, all to drive improvements in lung research and innovation.
You’ll be adept at managing high-level stakeholders to drive consensus and build action-oriented collaborations that can transform respiratory science. You’ll have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and be experienced at spotting new opportunities to reach influencing objectives ideally targeting public and private research funders. You’ll interact with colleagues at all levels across the organisation and have a great opportunity to develop your influencing skillset.
