Job summary
Imperial College Business School’s strategic vision is to be a globally excellent business school that ranks among the best in the world. The IDEA Lab (Innovation, Digital Education, Innovation) plays a critically important role in achieving this vision by building new capabilities in all forms of delivery (online, blended, multi-modal and face-to-face); implementing advanced analytical tools to understand and improve student learning and engagement; and by pioneering new technologies to cultivate an innovative learning experience for our students. The IDEA Lab is an area of competitive advantage for the school, maintaining our position as a world-leader in digital education and ensuring our reputation as a place for innovators and entrepreneurs.
The purpose of this post is to support the implementation of learning design and overall experience of online and blended programmes developed and delivered within the Business School. You will be closely involved in the development and production of new modules on the platform, collaborating with senior designers, developers and media specialists to ensure the highest-quality content. This position would suit an individual who is academically successful and highly organised, with some experience of teaching and learning in an online environment. It is a challenging, dynamic and fast-paced environment, so a love of learning is vital as you will be expected to quickly understand the basics of a range of management subjects, from entrepreneurship and strategy to operations management and advanced machine learning.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and dynamic team with a start-up mentality and be at the forefront of creating high-quality learning solutions to meet the growing needs of higher education at a world-leading institution.
