Role Overview
As a member of the Senior Research Leadership Team, reporting to the Director of RSSD, you’ll lead the Research Strategy & Operations Hub for the College of Social Sciences, working closely with the PVC & Head of College of Social Sciences to drive the University's research performance to new heights.
The Hub provides comprehensive support to develop a vibrant and inclusive environment for our Social Sciences researchers, and brings together the key functions of Research Strategy, Research Development, Strategic Projects, Research Facilitation, Research Support (Grants & Contracts), Funder Compliance including Due Diligence, and Post Award Research Finance.
The role will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the College's research strategy and objectives, ensuring the College has first-class research grants, contracts and services tailored to the unique needs of social science research. The role provides an opportunity for you to lead and inspire a team of research support professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across the entire research project life cycle and to act as a representative and advocate for the College within the University.
