We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our apprenticeship programmes.
Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored apprenticeship solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of apprenticeships and industry needs. Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent professional experience (5 years+ in similar roles)
Experience and Skills
• Proven track record in developing strategic partnerships with public and private sectors.
• Substantial experience in apprenticeships or vocational training.
• Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding and the Levy.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with experience exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Experience managing projects in an education setting (desirable).
