We are seeking a transformative leader to develop and shape the future of our MB BS Medicine degree. The current undergraduate MB BS Medicine was first launched in 2002 and has earned itself a reputation for high quality graduates who are amongst the best prepared for practice in the UK, a clear student-centred experience alongside early patient contact. We are looking for an exceptional leader, with vision and ambition, who will lead and develop our undergraduate MB BS Medicine provision for the future needs of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan. The individual will work closely with the Norwich Medical School Senior Leadership team and be supported by an experienced team of medical educators to develop the provision for the future.
As Course Director, will provide leadership and direction to the curriculum design and delivery of the MB BS Medicine degree. Working closely with practice partners, heads of year, head of assessment and module leads, you will lead quality assurance and delivery of the MB BS, ensuring compliance with UEA and GMC regulations. The individual will work closely with Head of Department of Medical Education, Director of Strategy, Teaching and Learning, and Dean of Medicine to develop the MB BS Medicine degree meets the challenges set out in the Long-Term Workforce Plan whilst ensuring an outstanding student experience and a course that meets demand of the student body.
This part-time (0.6FTE) post is available from 1st November 2024 on an indefinite basis.
