The National Institute for Health and Care Research Applied Research Collaboration (NIHR ARC Wessex) is a Department of Health and Social Care funded programme of research that provides high quality, implementation-based research to support decision makers in health and healthcare.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join a small enthusiastic and cohesive team, working flexibly to support the management of health and care research. Working together with the rest of team you will provide support to the varied work of the ARC.
We are looking for someone with experience of providing administrative support to senior staff including diaries, meeting organisation and travel arrangements ideally in an academic or research environment. You will be proactive and highly computer literate. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team, which is committed to adding maximum value to the management of health and implementation research. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining close attention to detail along with an interest in supporting the development of health research and professionals in the UK.
