About the Role
In this key role for our Motor Vehicle department, you will take an active role in supporting staff and students in workshop sessions by providing technical services to support the delivery of the College programmes within our Motor Vehicle provision.
You will have the opportunity to work in our Motor Vehicle workshops and you will use your knowledge, experience and ideas to continuously improve our current processes and procedures with the potential to develop these further to create the best training facilities in South Yorkshire. You will also be responsible for providing technical assistance and advice by taking an active role in supporting academic staff and students in all workshop activities.
You will…
Have previous experience working within the Motor Vehicle industry and ideally of working with young people. You will hold a relevant qualification and your L2 English and Maths or equivalent. You will need to have excellent team, communication and IT skills.
Desirable qualifications include Health & Safety and First Aid.
Departmental Information
You will be joining our team of Technicians working within our Motor Vehicle dept, reporting to the Curriculum Manager and working closely with tutors, and team leaders.
