An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate experienced with working with young people to join the Addiction Research Group in the Norwich Medical School, to conduct studies on developing educational resources on the use of illicit vapes for children of school age.
 
As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, collect, analyse and interpret qualitative data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes. The outcome of the project will be the development of an educational resource for schools.
 
You will have a graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant area and will be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directly relating to this research area and previous research experience would be advantageous.  

This part-time (0.4FTE) post is available from 2 September 2024 on a fixed term basis for six months.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
