This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative partnership between the University of the West of England (UWE) and HVN Labs under the UK Government sponsored Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme. The position is a 24-month fixed term contract, which includes management and business skills training provided by the national KTP programme and a further £2k per annum dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development.
HVN Labs is a partner company of Celestial Labs, who are in turn a global leader in the entertainment industry, using the latest innovative drone light technology to bring purposeful stories to the skies. Celestial and HVN group are part of a collective of creative animators, filmmakers and tech specialists. HVN are pioneering drone art technology systems that will help to gaze up and reignite our relationship with our stars, our world, our planet; and is powered by renewable energy.
With specialist support from the Academic team from the College of Arts, Technology and Environment academic team at UWE Bristol. You will lead on a 24-month project where you will build an in-house digital twin capability to enhance drone stability, efficiency, and control which will be utilised to create immersive drone lightshows.

This is a full-time, 24 months fixed-term post, working 37 hours per week.
