The Department of Cyber & Computing is undergoing exciting changes, including the Cyber Innovation Academy, set to open in 2024.
We seek to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Cyber and Computing to contribute to the development, management, and delivery of our programmes while fostering strong ties with industry partners. The department offers a wide range of programmes and learning opportunities, and we especially welcome applications from candidates with a specialism in Cyber Security.
You will combine a passion for teaching and research, assuming a key role in planning, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of our programmes. Collaboration with students, team members, and colleagues across the University is essential to ensure a positive student experience. You will also monitor student recruitment and retention and address all University quality assurance processes. Experience in teaching and learning within the Higher Education sector is advantageous.
This varied and challenging role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work flexibly and meet tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team. Outstanding communication and organisational skills, and an eye for detail are essential.
While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, it is not essential for this post.
